Google loves to celebrate special occasions with special versions of its iconic name.

Thursday, the search engine unveiled its latest: an interactive, musical Google guitar in honor of what would have been Les Paul’s 96th birthday.  Not only is the doodle fun to look at, but move your mouse over the strings and you can actually play the on-screen instrument!

But wait, there’s more!

Not only can you create your own music, but you can even record it!  Here’s a little ditty I came up with. I didn’t say it was good, but I did have fun making it.
